1 Year Old

Wyatt turned 1 year while we were on vacation. My little guy is growing up so fast. It seems so much faster than with Bub but he has a big brother to copy all the time. He's a runner and a climber. He's not nearly as cautious as Lincoln was. We never had to worry about Lincoln falling down stairs or off the bed bc he was very careful in how he got down. Wyatt just walks off the edge without thought or fear, and even if he gets hurt he'll do it again. The boys play together so well, it's awesome to watch them interact. They get each other laughing and you can't help but smile. Wyatt still has the most hilarious laugh. I've got to post a video. He's also a cuddly little guy. He loves to pat your back when he hugs you. If you're laying down he'll come over and lay his head on yours and he give those little open mouth bird kisses and blow kisses. So sweet. He's also exhausting. He's very attention demanding. He doesn't like to be by himself, he needs to be able to see you at all times. He likes to laugh and yell at his reflection, he's got several dances...the drop it dance, the twisting dance and the bottom scooch dance. He's so funny and he knows it, he cracks himself up all the time. He 's a great eater, he eats everything, I never have problems with him at mealtime. He eats blueberries, strawberries, melon, mangos, bananas, apples, pears...fresh, frozen, freeze dried. He loves carrots, broccoli, peas, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, squash, avocados, EGGS, cheese, chicken and of course snacks. He lets us know when he's hungry by signing more or saying more "momo". He's so funny, he'll get the bag of pretzel chips and bring them to me and sign more, or if he see you with food he starts signing like crazy. He drinks from a straw and loves it, he hates sippy cups and tries to rip the lids off but he doesn't bother his straw cups. He's a messy little eater, if he doesn't want a particular food he'll throw it right on the ground without trying it so I don't try and move on to the next food group. He likes to eat with his foot on top of his tray and he'll eat anything Lincoln gives him, which we've caught Bub trying to pass his veggies off to Wyatt. He likes spicy foods, he eats our Indian food which is hot but keeps going.
We took the boys for their check up at the beginning at May, and Wyatt was at the 50% for weight, which is hard to believe based upon the way he eats and his belly, and 95% for height.
Happy Birthday Wyatt! We love you!!!
