8.5 months

I guess I never posted an 8 month posting and we're almost to 9 months but so much changes I want to capture it all. We've been overwhelmed lately with sicness in our house. It started the new year with a bad head cold then last weekend Lincoln ran a fever and this week Lincoln and I traded off an all night stomach sickess, leaving JR to take care of us both. Fortunately Lincoln's didn't last long and this morning guess what? That's right, JR has it too. I'm hoping as the weather gets a little nicer we will be free from any illness and be able to actually leave the house on our weekends. We're starting to feel a little confined and look for reasons to make trips to the drug store or grocery....

Enough of that- on to the good stuff. A few things Lincoln's doing that are too cute and show his signs of constantly growing...
-Weighs 22.5 lbs and if you don't believe me please try to pick him up... he is solid
-has two bottom teeth and one top tooth. His little smile is so crooked right now but I think his other top tooth is coming in..
-Scrunches up his nose when he smiles
-Has an expanded baby vocabulary..he can now say 'da' and likes to gurgle
-Dances to anything that even sounds like music....
-Chase is his favorite game with dad, mostly around the kitchen island
-he loves peek-a-boo and plays it all the time
-Can throw his balls overhanded and his smaller ones he can throw overhanded with both hands
-can stand on his own for short amounts of time, although he still thinks he always has to be holding onto something
-has started to walk while holding onto the couch or coffee tables
-loves to eat his homemade baby food
-holds his own legs up while he's getting a diaper change and refuses to put them down for any reason :o )
-gives tons of kisses, high fives and loves to do the "touchdown" sign. Yesterday at the grocery he kept one hand in the air almost the entire time

Waiting for his bath.... he loves bath time and even comes in the bathroom while we're taking showers and tries to get in.. in the meantime manages to soak his clothes from the spray of water
There's that top tooth.....
Such a cheese...

High five dad....

Touchdown!
Playing with dad... yes he is hanging upsidedown....
Step one to throwing the ball is touching it to your forehead unless you were not aware.....
