Our interview with the nurse-midwife went very well yesterday and we decided on the spot that she would be the doctor to help us through this time. It is awesome to have a person whose beliefs align so perfectly with our own in charge of bringing Micro into the world. Every question we had, she had the perfect answer and really put any possible fears we had to rest. We did our initial exam and I was able to hear the heartbeat for the first time. What an absolute miracle....
Our next appointment is at the 20 week mark, Dec. 18th. At that point we will have more ultrasound pictures and a full update!
